BIO
Sophie Sawicka is a contemporary artist working in Toronto. Sophie is currently completing her BFA in the Drawing and Painting program at OCADU (2025). Sophie’s work most recently was shown in the ‘Embodied Narratives: Unveiling the Stories Within’ Exhibit at OCADU (Toronto). In the exhibit she presented a work from a larger series she completed titled: ‘Slipping out of Reach’. She is excited to be accepted into the Partial OCADU Showcase at the end of 2024.
Sophie is focused on building her portfolio and exhibiting her work in Toronto. She is actively searching to participate in exhibitions and expand her practice into the public. She will be doing her thesis next year and showing at GRAD-EX in 2025
